PoseOverlay is designed with privacy at its core. We don't collect your personal data, we don't require accounts, and your camera feed never leaves your device.

Camera Access

PoseOverlay requires camera access to function. Your camera feed is processed entirely on your device — in your browser. No video or image data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. The camera stream stays 100% local.

Photos You Capture

Photos taken within PoseOverlay are stored locally in your browser's storage (localStorage). They are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser data. When you tap "Save Photo," the image downloads directly to your device.

Data We Don't Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Camera footage or photos
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics tied to individuals

Local Storage

PoseOverlay uses your browser's localStorage to save your preferences (favorite poses, timer settings) and captured photos. This data exists only on your device and is never transmitted. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

PoseOverlay loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to font loading. We may implement privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible or Netlify Analytics) that do not use cookies or track individuals.

Cookies

PoseOverlay does not use cookies.

Children's Privacy

PoseOverlay does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this applies universally.
