How to Use Duo Mode in PoseOverlay
Couple poses need both people to see the overlay. Duo Mode shares the current pose via URL so both you and your partner can see the same pose overlay on your own devices — no screen-sharing required.
What Duo Mode Does
Duo Mode generates a shareable URL containing the full pose data. When a second person opens the link, they see the exact same pose overlay on their camera. Both people can independently match their half of the pose — especially useful for couple, group, and family poses.
How to Use It
Step 1
Select a couple or group pose
Choose a pose from the Couple, Group, Family, or Wedding categories — any pose that involves multiple people.
Step 2
Tap Duo Mode and share the link
In the Feature Hub, tap 📡 Duo Mode. Copy the generated URL and send it to your partner via text or AirDrop.
Step 3
Both match the pose simultaneously
Both devices show the same overlay. Position yourselves together and match your respective sides of the pose. Have a third person take the shot, or use a timer.
Duo Mode vs Director Mode
Duo Mode is peer-to-peer — both people see and match the same pose. Director Mode is top-down — one person (photographer) picks the pose, the other (subject) matches it. Use Duo Mode for couple/group poses. Use Director Mode for photographer-directed shoots.
