How to Use Body Fit in PoseOverlay
Standard pose overlays assume average body proportions. But you're not average — nobody is. Body Fit uses your detected body measurements to scale the overlay to match your actual proportions, making pose matching more accurate and natural-looking.
What Body Fit Does
Body Fit captures a calibration snapshot of your body using Pose Match's keypoint detection. It measures your shoulder width and torso height relative to the reference pose, then scales all future overlays to match your proportions. Shorter torso? Wider shoulders? The overlay adapts to you.
How to Calibrate
Step 1
Tap Body Fit in the Feature Hub
Open the Feature Hub (⚡) and tap 🧍 Body Fit. It enables Pose Match if needed and starts the calibration process.
Step 2
Stand in a neutral pose
Stand naturally with your arms at your sides, facing the camera. Make sure your full body is visible. Body Fit needs a clear read of your shoulders and torso.
Step 3
Calibration captures automatically
After a brief moment, Body Fit captures your proportions. All overlays now scale to your body. The calibration is saved in localStorage so you don't need to recalibrate each session.
Your ratios persist between sessions. Recalibrate only if you want to update your measurements.

Calibrate once, use forever
Your body ratios are saved locally. Once calibrated, every pose overlay automatically adapts to your proportions until you recalibrate.
Better accuracy = better Pose Match scores
When the overlay matches your actual proportions, Pose Match scoring becomes more meaningful. You're matching against what the pose should look like on YOUR body, not a generic reference.
