How to Use Before/After Compare in PoseOverlay
The best motivation is seeing how far you've come. Before/After Compare creates side-by-side comparison images from your captured photos — perfect for tracking your posing improvement or sharing your glow-up journey.
What Before/After Does
Before/After Compare takes two captured photos and composites them into a single side-by-side comparison image with a divider line. The result is a clean, shareable image that shows your progression — whether that's your first attempt vs. your tenth, or your posing skills last month vs. today.
How to Use It
Step 1
Capture photos with a pose active
Take at least two photos with any pose selected. Before/After works best when you use the same pose both times so the comparison is meaningful.
Step 2
Open Before/After from the review screen
After capturing a photo, find ↔️ Before/After in the Feature Hub. Select your two images and the comparison is generated automatically.
Step 3
Share or save the comparison
The comparison image is rendered on a canvas and can be shared via the Web Share API (on supported devices) or saved directly to your camera roll.
Sharing Your Comparisons
On devices that support the Web Share API, you can share the comparison image directly to Instagram, WhatsApp, Messages, or any other app. The image is a self-contained file — no watermarks, no branding, just your two photos side by side.
Tips
Same pose, different days
The most powerful comparisons use the same pose captured days or weeks apart. You'll see exactly how your posing confidence and technique have improved.
Pair with Glow-Up Timeline
